Activities and Projects

• Conduct monthly meetings with speakers & programs relating to horticultural, design and environmental topics
   
  
• Hold monthly competitions in horticulture and design
   
  
• Compete in periodic standard flower and design shows
   
• Offer workshops & demonstrations on floral design and outdoor garden projects
   
• Design & provide winter holiday decorations for a local historic house and "The Center in the Park" in Philadelphia
   
• Landscape "Habitat for Humanity" house
   
  
• Judge for the "Montgomery County Science Fair"
• Provide plant maintenance at the Chestnut Hill Library
   
  
• Participate in the annual "Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival"
   
  
• Plan and execute all aspects for local home garden tours
   
• Travel to places of horticultural interest
   
• Submit entries & provide volunteers for the annual "Philadelphia Flower Show"
   
• Contribute to local environmental groups
   
• Support district, state and national garden club events
