Our May meeting will be on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at noon at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. The program will be “The Beautiful Peony” by Thom Mazrik
The Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival will be on Sunday, May3, 2026. We will have booth at the top of Chestnut Hill on Germantown Avenue. We will be selling, Mother’s Day Baskets filled with annuals and also, perennials of many kinds along with some specialty items.
District XI is hosting an outing to Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, on Friday, May 29th. The garden features and ever-changing collection of sculptures along with wonderful plantings.
Founded in 1957, The Outdoor Gardeners seeks to promote interest in horticulture, design and ecology among its members and to spread our expertise through community projects.
Monthly meetings feature speakers on a wide range of topics: flower arranging, gardening, shrubs, house plants, and environmental subjects.
Regular Monthly meetings: the first Thursday of the month at noon from September – June at The Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill, 8855 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118.
