Our March meeting will be on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at noon at the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. The program will be presented by Jack Jones, a woodworker who specializes in birdhouses. His program is called “Recycling for the Birds” because he uses recycled items to build the birdhouses. He will discuss why many houses for sale are not built with the birds in mind. He will bring birdhouses with him for sale and promises a display of 25 to 30 houses.
The Philadelphia Flower Show will start February 28th.
Founded in 1957, The Outdoor Gardeners seeks to promote interest in horticulture, design and ecology among its members and to spread our expertise through community projects.
Monthly meetings feature speakers on a wide range of topics: flower arranging, gardening, shrubs, house plants, and environmental subjects.
Regular Monthly meetings: the first Thursday of the month at noon from September – June at The Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill, 8855 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118.
