Activities & Projects
- Conduct monthly meetings with speakers & programs relating to horticultural, design and environmental topics
- Hold monthly competitions in horticulture and design
- Compete in periodic standard flower and design shows
- Offer workshops & demonstrations on floral design and outdoor garden projects
- Design & provide winter holiday decorations for a local historic house and “The Center in the Park” in Philadelphia
- Add a Pollinator to the Kelly Green Community garden.
- Landscape “Habitat for Humanity” house
- Judge for the “Montgomery County Science Fair”
- Worth with the J>B> Kelly school by planting a pollinator garden.
- Provide designs for the Ronald McDonald House
- Participate in the annual “Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival”
- Plan and execute all aspects for local home garden tours
- Travel to places of horticultural interest
- Submit entries & provide volunteers for the annual “Philadelphia Flower Show”
- Contribute to local environmental groups
- Support district, state and national garden club events
